I have this attitude to store anything I find on the web into my c:\temp folder, then once i find things useful to keep i store it elsewhere on the system.
Today I noticed that my temp folder has become completely empty, probably caused by some smart software installation package that thought it must help me to clean up my machine.
Although i haven’t stored anything important there, I wanted to get things back. Claude who is working with me provided me with a link to a utility that turned out to be extremely useful and that is free !
The software is called Recuva and has helped me to get my files back.
