…….That’s the message i got yesterday when I wanted to start Outlook 2007. I solved the problem after having found the solution on MSOutlook.info Running the following command fixed the issue.
outlook.exe /resetnavpane
A complete reference of all the Microsoft Outlook 2007 command-line switches can be found here

When opening an Excel file that contains macros, Microsoft Excel 2007 shows a security warning as shown in the picture below and disables the macros.
To continue using the Excel sheet and its macros, you must first enable then by clicking on the "Options…” button and selecting the “Enable this content” option. This is quite annoying if you must use that same file on a regular basis. You could of course completely disable this security warning on your entire system, but then there is a risk of opening content once that could contain unwanted code.
But if you are sure about files that are located at a specific location can be considered as save, you can configure Trusted Locations in Excel 2007. Once that folder is configured as a trusted location, your Excel files will open without disabling the macros.
To configure Trusted Locations in Excel 2007, press the Alt+F key and then the Alt+I key to access the Excel Options, then select “Trust Center”, “Trust Center Settings”, “Trusted Locations”.
Then select “Add new location”. I used C:\data\trust for this example.

Press the “OK” button to confirm your configuration.

You probably all know this one. You write an e-mail that mentions an attachment and you send it out. Then a few minutes later, one of the recipients who actually did read your mail properly replies, telling you that there was no document attached. So you end up replying to all with the document mentioned attached and apologizing for not having it attached in your first message.
Today when I was actually searching for something totally different, but related to MS Office 2007, I came across the “Forgotten Attachment Detector” add-in for Outlook.
This FREE add-on will give you a warning message if you have pushed the Send Button in case you have mentioned an attached document, but the mail doesn’t contain any attachments.

The Add-in can be downloaded from here
Speaking about useful things for Outlook, also read out my earlier blog post “Don’t send outlook messages without subject”.

Most companies put storage limits on their users mailboxes. To avoid full mailboxes, some periodic housekeeping is required. This can be done by either using the archiving function or by deleting content manually.
To identify calendar entries with large attachments, select your calendar, select View, then Current View, then Outlook Data files. Then click on the “size” column to sort the calendar entries by size.
You should now see the calendar entries sorted by its size and start deleting those items that are not needed anymore.
